Let’s Talk about the Role
You as a Digital Trader (Vans, EMEA) will play a key role in performing cross-functionally all activities related to pre-season planning, assortments definitions, in-season trading, inventory management, end-of-season liquidation, reporting and data analysis for Vans’ Partner DTC Models (2P Models).
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
You will be responsible for digital trading (including initial stock allocation, in-season stock management, price mark-down strategy implementation, performance marketing, periodical OTB revision (with Operations/Finance Teams) and end-of-season stock clearance.
You will conduct analysis based on current and historical data to constantly optimize/improve performance and provide actionable insights to the business.
You will closely collaborate with Merchandising and Buying Teams for all pre-season planning and buying activities (MFP, SKU selection, inventory phasing, distribution).
You will closely collaborate with your Merchandising Operation counterpart pre-season and in-season to ensure a smooth trading flow.
You will organize and host recurrent meetings with all key stakeholders to enable seamless collaboration and successful partnership.
You will closely support the launch and commercial development of the ASOS Storefront Model.
Skills for Success
You should be a…
Analytical and commercial mindset, great attention to detail.
Strong Excel proficiency, familiarity with BI systems is a plus (IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects).
Strong organisational skills, proactive attitude, ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
Previous working experience in the fashion industry.
Passion for Vans and the lifestyle it represents.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management or Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
