Sales Support Specialist – PM Drive

As a Sales Support Specialist – PM Drive for Process Automation Business Area in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Suzhou, China, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales assigned organization (PAPI Pulp & Paper Local Business Unit) and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
Your responsibilities
- Offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications
- Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
- Preparing offers in coordination with the local sales unit and Global Sales Specialists
- Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and manages resolution to specific customer problem
- Participating in customer visits during their visits to local factory site
- Implementing global standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Your background
- A bachelor or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in PM drive design and experience in machine application is a plus
- To provide broad and professional technical support to sales and customer
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work globally within different cultures
- Good in spoken and written English
- Available for frequent traveling domestically
