We're looking for a friendly, confident and experienced host to join our team, running laser tag games, hosting kids' parties, making pizzas and serving drinks (hot, cold, alcoholic).
Megazone's hours are 5-9 Wednesday to Friday, and all day till 9:30pm Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts would likely be 4.5-6 hours long, falling on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional shifts on weekday evenings available. You would be working 10-18 hours a week.
Experience with children is ideal, either professionally, as a parent or through volunteering. Leadership and communication skills are essential here. If you can imagine at weekends our customers arrive with a hoard of excitable children. From the moment they enter the building we need to take charge of their party so they can relax and celebrate their child's birthday while we take care of everything.
In the evenings, Megazone caters to teens, students and adults. Being comfortable and sociable with all age groups is an essential part of the job. We serve freshly made pizza and alcohol too, so bar & kitchen experience also highly desirable.
Experience and year-round availability is absolutely essential for this role. Please don't apply if you don't live in Leicester during the holidays, or have never worked in leisure, pubs, restaurants or retail.
First aid and food hygiene training will be given.
