Roles & Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities for this position includes:
· The HCA will provide high level of clinical care to the patients
· The HCA will provide quality person centred care to meet the needs of the patients in the community
· The HCA will promote a caring environment for patients which is conducive to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the patients, through highest standards of professional practice
· The HCA will ensure to provide care services at high standards in given assigned tasks and duties

Essential Criteria
QQI Level 5 qualification or equivalent in a relevant healthcare discipline
- Degree in nursing or equivalent with at least two years post graduate experience
- Experience of working successfully to support individuals and their families
- Strong commitment to community living
- Experience in self direction, planning and implementing a support package to meet a persons’ individual needs in a community based inclusive manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full driver’s licence
- Enjoys & will participate weekly in swimming and competent in the swimming pool
- Experience and knowledge of disability
- Experience in the management of epilepsy
- Some knowledge of building community relationships
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Patient, calm, interactive and have a good appetite for life.
Work Hours
39 hours per week
Salary
€13.31 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €27,000.00 per year
