Surface Mount Operator (SMT) Urgently required for a leading electronics manufacturer based in Reading. You will work for an expanding business with a modern manufacturing facility producing high quality electronic products utilised in wide range of applications.
you will be focused on the operation of the PCB Assembly surface mount line. You will have a basic knowledge of electronic manufacturing systems and production processes, and be able to operate and maintain the surface mount line in conjunction with the development team to fault find and propose enhancements to production items or processes.
Late Shift 2pm-10pm, 11am- 5pm fridays
The work would involve:
- Programming the machine
- Ensuring high quality assemblies in line with electronic drawings
- Quality Checking
Required Technical Skills / Qualifications:
- Training in surface mount technology (SMT) operations
- Great attention to detail
- Motivation to ensure excellent quality standards
- Excellent communication and team working skills as well as the ability to work independently
